Import multiple candidates from a ZIP file containing PDF CVs. Each PDF becomes one candidate. Lope parses the CV content and extracts name, skills, experience, and education.

Supported format

  • File type: .zip (containing PDF files only)
  • Size limits: 100 MB for the ZIP, 10 MB per PDF
  • Max files: 1000 PDFs per ZIP

How to import from CVs

  1. Put all PDF CVs in a single ZIP file
  2. Go to the candidates view
  3. Click Import in the toolbar
  4. Select Import CVs (.zip)
  5. Choose your ZIP file
  6. Wait for the import to complete

What happens

  • Each PDF is uploaded to Lope storage
  • A candidate is created for each PDF
  • CV content is parsed and saved to cv_json (name, skills, experience, education)
  • Candidates are created at the workspace level (no client or job by default)

Notes

  • Only PDF files are processed; other file types in the ZIP are skipped
  • macOS metadata files (__MACOSX, ._*) are ignored
  • Invalid or corrupted PDFs are skipped and counted in the “failed” total
